Important Dates for 2026-27 Registration:

 

  • April 6: Online Pre-Registration for Returning Students Opens
  • June 1 - July 10: Online Pre-Registration for New Students (Including PreK)

  • July 7 - July 10: In-Person Residency Verification at BILOXI HIGH SCHOOL
    • TuesdayJuly 7: 8 am - 3 pm
    • Wednesday, July 8: 8 am - 3 pm
    • Thursday, July 9: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
    • Friday, July 10: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • July 10 @ 3 pm - Last Day to Register In Order to Attend the First Day of School
  • July 28 - First Day for Transitional Grades (Kindergarten, 1st (Gorenflo only), 5th, 7th, & 9th)
  • July 29 - First Day for All Grades
  • July 30 - Late Registration Begins

REMEMBER...REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL BOTH ONLINE REGISTRATION AND IN-PERSON RESIDENCY VERIFICATION HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.

Transferring to the Biloxi Public School District from a non-accredited school/environment or homeschool? Registered students transferring from a non-accredited school/environment or homeschool must be tested prior to placement in a grade and/or school. Once you've completed online registration, contact Student Services at 228-374-1810, ext. 1125 as soon as possible.

Two (2) proofs of residency are required for registration along with a government issued photo ID. Provide one document from each group:

  • Group One: Mortgage Statement (dated within the last 30 days), Property Tax Form, Filed Homestead Exemption, Apartment, Home or Military Housing Lease
  • Group Two: Utility Bill (dated within the last 30 days) Electric, Gas, Cable, Military Base Housing Residence Form

Other Documents Required for Registration:

  • Government Issued Photo ID
  • Legal Guardianship Documents (divorce decree, court-filed guardianship, etc.) *Must be signed by a judge; notarized documents are not accepted*
  • Certified copy of birth certificate - for new students only
  • Student's Social Security Card - for new students only
  • Mississippi Form 121 Immunization Certificate - for new students and those entering 7th grade.  Form 121 Immunization Certificates can be obtained at the health department or online by clicking here. We also partner with Biloxi’s Excel by 5 & Coastal Family Health to bring you the Immunization Fair. This free event offers immunizations for school-aged children as well as assistance with Form 121.   • Unofficial Transcript - new high school students only, cannot register without a transcript
  • Residents receiving snap benefits are encouraged to bring their snap card with case number to on-site registration

Please bring hard copies of your documentation to on-site registration to help move the process along faster. 

PreK Registration Information

  • Biloxi PreK is a full day program where daily attendance is required.
  • Biloxi Public School District does not provide transportation for PreK students; therefore, parents are responsible for transporting their PreK child to and from school daily.
