For the second year in a row, Biloxi High School has been named the #1 High School on the MS Gulf Coast by US News & World Report. We ranked #4 in the state.
This yearly ranking is based on the following criteria:
college readiness (30%)
college curriculum breadth (10%)
state assessment proficiency (20%)
state assessment performance (20%)
underserved student performance (10%)
graduation rate (10%)
This is an achievement not just for Biloxi High, but for the entire district. Superintendent Boudreax said, "The ultimate goal of a school system is to graduate ALL students and strive to ensure that ALL students are prepared to either enter the workforce or move on to a post-secondary experience. Reaching that goal is only possible due to the collective efforts of everyone involved from Pre-K through Graduation."
It is the policy and commitment of the Biloxi School District that it does not discriminate on the basis of color, race, age, sex, national origin, disability, or religion.
