Ms. Jasmine Grass
Greetings to all,
My name is Jasmine Grass, and it is a pleasure to serve as a 5th Grade Inclusion/Resource teacher for this 2023-2024 school year. This is my second year teaching "exceptional" education; however, I am new to Biloxi Upper. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with your children and help them reach their full potential.
Being a special education teacher is not just a job, but it is a calling. I also believe that teaching is more than just a profession, but it is a responsibility to make a positive and impactful difference in the lives of students. Therefore, I am committed to providing the best possible education for my students.
One of my top priorities is building strong relationships with my students and their families. I wholeheartedly believe that working collaboratively with families can lead to better academic and social outcomes for students. When families are actively involved in the learning process, students are more motivated and can achieve greater success.
My teaching approach is centered around my students' individual needs, and I firmly believe that "one size does not fit all". Every student is unique and requires a personalized approach to learning. Therefore, I create a student-centered learning environment that provides differentiated instruction, tailored to the needs of each individual student.
I am committed to ensuring that my students receive the necessary support, encouragement, and guidance to be successful. I am excited about embarking on this journey with my students and you. Together, we can ACHIEVE great things.
