My name is Emma Wylie and I am the academic and behavioral strategist for Back Bay Elementary.  My passion lies in providing parents and educators with the support necessary to ensure the emotional, behavioral, and academic success of all students.  This can be achieved by using data-driven instruction, differentiated learning, and whole-child-based practices.   

     I am a Biloxi High School graduate and have served the district since 2014.  After high school graduation, I earned my associates degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.  I then went on to William Carey University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  I returned to William Carey in 2011 and received my teaching certificate with an emphasis in elementary education and biology.  In 2013, I graduated with my Masters in the Art of Education.  I earned my Specialist in Educational Leadership in August of 2021 from Mississippi College.
