Hello Everyone!!

I am Jaszmen Hawthorne. I am your School Social Worker at Biloxi Upper Elementary! I obtained my education through Thee Jackson State University, and Louisiana State University (Once a Tiger Always a Tiger). I am excited about starting this awaited adventure this school year. While our precious kiddos are trying to achieve and excel at their curriculum, my role is to intercept and address any social, emotional, or personal barriers that would hinder such. My ultimate goal is to make sure that our kids have the least restricted opportunity at learning while here at the Upper!
