Mrs. Jensen Jacquet
Hello! I'm Jensen Jacquet, and I am so excited to be teaching English 10 at Biloxi High School!
After graduating from d'Iberville High School, I attended Mississippi State University as part of the inaugural cohort of the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program (METP). After earning my Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education--English, my husband (Shawn) and I moved to the Memphis, Tennessee, area, where I taught in north Mississippi and earned my Master of Science in Educational Psychology and Research at the University of Memphis. I completed my master's thesis on the impact of teacher scholarship programs on the critical teacher shortage in the state of Mississippi, focusing on METP's impact in the state. I am currently in the process of achieving National Board certification.
My last name is pronounced "Jack-OH."
