7th Grade Mathematics

My name is Candace Assink, and I have the pleasure of teaching 7th grade Math at BJH this year. I am from Biloxi, and I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education degree from the University of Southern Mississippi- Southern Miss To The Top! I have been a teacher for the last nine years, working in Laurel and Harrison County School Districts.  I was a third grade teachcer for 5 years and taught fifth grade for the remaining 4 before moving back home. I have two little boys, Levi (7) and Lane (4), who keep me very busy on the weekends and every other hour that I'm not spending at school. This will be my fisrt year at BJH and I'm proud to be part of the Indian Nation.  I’m looking forward to an excellent year!
