Ms. Miesha Griffin

Welcome to my class website! The 2024 - 2025 school year will be my tenth year teaching students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities in the Biloxi School District, however I have been teaching 16 years prior to this. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education. I went on to earn a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University in 2017. I am proud to have recieved two Teacher of the Year recognitions: First at Taconi Elementary (2011 - 2012) and the second at Biloxi High (2018 - 2019) along with my partner teacher Mrs. Katherine Myers. I teach two Alternate Math Elements classes, two Career Readiness classes and two Alternate History classes here at Biloxi High School. I am the proud mother of a daughter, two cats, and a tortoise. I am also a proud Biloxi High graduate (1993)! If you have any questions about our program please email me.
