MSEd Speech Pathology BSEd Communication Disorders
Hello, my name is Stacie King, and I am a speech-language pathologist currently serving students in the Biloxi Public School District at Biloxi Upper Elementary School. Although this is only my fourth year in Biloxi, I am currently in my 18th year as a speech-language pathologist in the public school setting. Prior to moving to Biloxi, I worked in Alaska for 2 years and in Nebraska for 12 years, as a speech-language pathologist serving children ages 3 to 13. I received my B.S. in Education in Communication Disorders and my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
My family and I moved to Mississippi in August, 2014. I am married to Fred King and I have a 15 year-old son, Connor. We enjoy spending time together exploring the local area, watching Connor play in his school's marching band, reading, running, traveling, spending time with friends, and visiting family.
I enjoy working with children of all ages, helping them to realize and achieve their greatest potential. I work with a team of teachers, special education providers, school psychologists, nurses, and many others in the school setting to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders of school-aged children. I am excited for another great school year in Biloxi and working with your children!
