"Biloxi Public Schools launched a month long celebration for the month of April celebrating "Indian Nation". To get everyone excited about the celebration, Popp's Ferry Elementary showed their Indian Nation pride every Friday." - Dr. Todd BoucherEveryone joined in on the fun by showing their pride! Wearing as much red as possible every Friday, for Fridays during the month of April. For each Friday, Dr. Boucher and Ms. Reynolds observed classrooms to see which class should win a pizza party for showing the best & most Indian Nation spirit."This was a wonderful opportunity to show the District that everyone at Popp's Ferry is indeed Popp's Ferry Proud, as well as, a big supporter of the Indian Nation."Also, our District held it's first annual 5K and 1-Mile Trek on April the 26th. The event was packed with all Biloxi Schools spirited students, staff, and many more people that are Biloxi proud! Over 750 people signed up for the event. 330 participated in the 5k run!
