Mrs. Ashley Duvel

My name is Ashley Duvel, and I am proud to be a part of the Gorenflo family!!  I am from Grand Rapids, MI  received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the Eastern Michigan University and currently working towards my Masters in Administration and Leadershio from Mississippi College.  I am certified to teach Elementary Education K-8. This will be my fourth year in first grade, with five years in Kindergarten.  

 
I have a real passion for working with our beginning readers. Working with each child and watching them grow in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. 
 
I have been happily married for six years. We have two small children, a three year old boy, and a one year old girl. We enjoy spending time at the beach, traveling to new places.
