My name is Katie Bertucci, and I am thrilled to serve as an Assistant Principal at Biloxi High School.  After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Ole Miss, I began my teaching career working with elementary students.  I then went on to obtain a degree in Educational Leadership and had the great fortune of working as an Assistant Principal intern at BHS.  After receiving my degree in Educational Leadership, I served as an Instructional Coach working with middle school students before returning to BHS.

The students and teachers at Biloxi High School are among the best in education.  They possess a passion and drive for learning that allows them to stand out as one of the top ranked schools in the state of Mississippi. I am honored to be a part of this wonderful team!

I have a Bachelor of Behavioral Science and a Master of Education degree. I am a retiree of the United States Air Force (USAF). I have been privileged to enter my fourth year in Biloxi School District. Prior to this role, I was a history educator at the Center for New Opportunities for three years. I also coached 8th grade boys basketball at BJHS and was an assistant track coach at BHS for two years.

I am fortunate to be among the best students, families, staff, teachers, and administrators our nation has to offer. Working for and with this educational team is the highlight of my career because BHS is “Excellence From All… For All.”
