My name is Angela Pounders. I began my teaching adventure in the classroom as a one-on-one aide, then worked 9 years as an assistant in a self-contained classroom. In 2012, I received my teaching degree at Blue Mountain College. Soon after graduation, my family and I moved from Corinth, MS to the beautiful MS Gulf Coast. I am honored to teach and be taught by my students with Autism.

 

In my classroom, we not only focus on academics, we also focus on social and emotional skills, developing independence, creating a class family and fostering a love for learning.
