  • Reading Routines & Healthy Sleep

Child psychologists have linked bedtime reading routines to increased vocabulary and cognitive functions and a team at Tuck created a new guide to help increase awareness. They cover the best bedtime stories available both online and in print for the newborn children through fifth graders with synopses as well as helpful information for parents regarding sleep hygiene for children.

  • Healthy Sleep Schedules

Although each child is unique, our team put together a resource of strategies and tips parents can use to alleviate bedtime anxiety and encourage more sleeping hours:

    https://freshome.com/security/how-incorporating-safety-into-bedtime-routine-can-help-ease-your-childs-anxiety/

It's not uncommon for children to be afraid of the dark, negatively impacting sleep patterns and even daily life. For those children easily distressed at night, feeling safe and secure can make the biggest difference in a healthy sleep schedule.

We’ve thoughtfully gathered tips for weaving elements of safety and security into your child’s nighttime routine as a way to ease bedtime anxiety, so you and your child can work towards a full night’s sleep.
