All Equipment with a value of $1,000.00 or more must have an Inventory Tag.

The following items must be tagged regardless of their purchase price, please note exceptions in parenthesis:

Cameras and camera equipment (Digital Cameras, Camcorders, etc. greater than $250)

Cellular Phones

Chain Saws

Computer Components (CPU, External Hard Drive, Pirnter, Scanner greater than $250)

DVDs (greater than $250)

Generators

Lawn maintenance equipment:

Blowers

Mower

Weed-Eater, etc.

Motorized Vehicles

Tape Recorders

Televisions

Two-Way Radios

VCRs (greater than $250)

Welding Machines

If any of the above items are placed on a requisition, they must be coded accordingly as a 700 (731, 733, 735, 737, etc.) item in the object code.  None of these items should be charged as a 600 item in the object code.

731 – Computer Components less than $5,000.00

733 – Computer Components greater than $5,000.00

735 – Other Furniture and Equipment less than $5,000.00

737 – Other Furniture and Equipment grater than $5,000.00
