READING
Objectives:
This is a
general overview of what the teacher will teach and what the student
is expected to master.

sounds from all the letters and letter patterns (including consonant

simple sentences.
Assessments:
A reading assessment (comprehension and or skills) will be given at
the end of each story. A weekly sight word test will also be given.
Homework/Assignments/Projects:
Reading and Sight
Word homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.
Course
Requirements: Students must participate in and complete all
classroom activities and assignments given during class and for
homework.
Reteaching and
Retesting:
Retesting/reteaching will be
during a 45 minute remediation period. Any student who requests to
retake a test may do so. Retest must be completed within 10 days.
Additional
Comments: Test folders
will be sent home on Tuesday. |
