MATH TERM 1
Objectives: This is a general overview of what
the teacher will teach and what the student is expected to master.
(Chapters 1 – 3 in Math Connects)

Recall addition and
subtraction facts.

stimulate initiative and independence or to reinforce and enrich classroom

Reteaching and Retesting:A student will be allowed to retest within 10 days of receiving

Places taught: I have been at Popp's Ferry since 1986. I was an instructional assistant in K and 5th grade as I worked on my teaching certificate.
Activities:
For a period of four years I worked as a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center in Gulfport. I have also been involved in our after school tutoring program here at Popp's Ferry where students were tutored in reading, language skills, and math.
Awards: I have certified as Model and Master Classroom in Reading Renaissance.
I am orginally from Biloxi and my children
have all attended Biloxi Schools.
I have 8 grandchildren and 4 are currently enrolled in Biloxi Schools. I have 2 dogs, Petey, and Ladybug. I like to walk, ride my bike, sew and garden. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my grandchildren who range in age from newborn thru 15 yrs.
