     Annie at the Coliseum

Tuesday , November 14, 5th grade at Popps Ferry Elementary went to the Biloxi Coliseum to see the play Annie. We walked from our school to the Coliseum and talked most of the way. But the best part was seeing the play. Annie is a play about an orphan and a rich man. His name is Oliver Warbucks and he wants to adopt her. The only thing to stop them is Ms. Hanigann the mean caretaker of the orphanigeand her brother, Rooster. We all enjoyed the play and afterwards drew    pictures of parts of the play.Maybe you will see it one day.

                                             A Series of Unfortunate Events

My favorite series of books is A Series of Unfortunate Events. I love that series because it is about orphans, and that it is an adventure series. It has a villan named Count Olaf. He is trying to steal the fortune the orphans have. The orphans keep on changing guardians too. Each one gets weirder and weirder. From a man who owns over two hundred reptiles, to a bunch of people from a carnival. That is why I love that series. .

                                                                  Gulf Islands Natonal Seashore

Do you know anything about G. I. N. S.? Well, park ranger, Ms. Terry, showed my C. R. E. A. T. E. class and I around. We learned about the different kinds of animals that live there. We also got to feel real animal skins of the animals that live there. Then, we went to a pier and caught shrimp, a mullet, a pinfish, and a blue crab. After that, we learned that mullets are very good at jumping and I also learned to stay away from shrimp while other people are touching them. Finally, we left and went to eat lunch. It was real educational.

                                                          IT'S  WRONG

Student body have you ever vandalized  somebodys property or  thought about  vandlizing. If you did vandlize  somebodys  property  you were wrong. Why?You were wrong first because it wasn't your property.Second because you could have been caught and sued.Third  because it was just plain wrong. If you are  thinking of vandlizing somebodys propertydon't because you could get in big trouble, get sued or go to jail.So don't even try to vandlize anything because you could get caught and that would be the end of being free.
