A.R.

(Accelerated Reader)

Students will be assigned a range of book levels to read.  They are expected to read their A.R. books every night and test on the computer as soon as they finish.  If testing a shorter storybook, they are expected to test the next day after approval of their book is given (it has to be within their A.R. range).  If they are reading a chapter book (usually over 3rd grade level), consideration will be given in regard to the length and complexity of the book and also as to when they are to test.
