Text Box: Mrs. Carpenter's 4th grade class completed a lesson using a pumpkin to incorporate math and science. First, they made predictions about the weight, height, circumference, and number of seeds.  Then, they weighed it on a scale and used a measuring tape and a ruler to check the height and circumference.  Next, they carved it, pulled out the seeds, counted them, and then baked and ate the seeds.
