Second grade is studying the Earth and it's resources. With the help of Mrs. Hammond, a parent volunteer, Mrs. Sandel's class saw what happens when a volcano erupts. This hands- on experiment demonstrated how magma turns into lava and provided a visual of how the volcano would look if it erupted! As you can see, the class LOVED it!
