Kindergarten Teachers

Mrs. Susan Bankston has been teaching for the Biloxi Public School District for 16 years. She joined North Bay Elementary when it opened 8 years ago. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is married and has a daughter, Kristen, who attends Biloxi High School and a son, Matthew, who is a student here at North Bay Elementary.


	Mrs. Jan Gruich has been teaching for the Biloxi Public School District for 19 years. She joined North Bay Elementary when it opened 8 years ago. She received her B.A. in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is married and has 3 daughters.		Mrs. Karen Dronet has been teaching at North Bay for 3 years. She received her Associate's degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

	Mrs. Angie Belisle began teaching at North Bay 5 years ago, although she began teaching in 1993. She taught kindergarten for 7 years and pre-k for 2 years in her hometown of New Orleans, LA. She holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Elementary Education. She is married with a son and a Maltese that thinks he is human. She love to shop and read.		Mrs. Terresa Schlicht began teaching at North Bay in 2006. She received her Associate's degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She was formerly a secretary at the University of Southern Mississippi for 8 years and secretary to the Dean of Instruction at MGCCC Jefferson Davis for 5 years. She was also a parent volunteer at North Bay for 4 years. She received the Parent Volunteer of the Year award for the 2004-2005 school year. Her family includes husband Steven Schlictht and three children, Ryan, Erin, and Connor.

She is a proud graduate of Biloxi High School and received her Associate's Degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College. She has been a preschool teacher for five years and was previously a substitute teacher in the Biloxi District for two years. Prior to coming to North Bay she was a special education assistant, autism emphasis, with the Department of Defense Schools in Iceland. She is enjoying being back home on the Gulf Coast with her husband and two children.

	Ellen Baldwin has been teaching at North Bay for 8 years. She received her B. S. from Delta State University and her Master's of Elementary Education from Williams Carey College. She has taught kindergarten for 15 years.

	Debra Taaffe began teaching at North Bay in 2006. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communication at West Virginia University and her Master's of Arts in Elementary Education from West Virginia University.		Lan Barker began teaching at North Bay in 2006. She enjoys working with children, cooking, and fishing.

	Tina Bistle has been teaching at North Bay for 4 years. She received her B. S. from the University of West Georgia. She has been teaching elementary school for 21 years.		Ethal Koen began teaching for North Bay in 2006. She received her Associate's degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
