She was a presenter at the National Reading Styles Institute for 2004-2005, a member of Who's Who Among American's Teachers, Biloxi Bay Chamber of Commerce, and the National Education Association. |

Christina Cox began teaching at North Bay this year. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama. She has two children and has lived in Biloxi for the past 6 years. She is originally from Alabama. |

Dee Bishop has been teaching in the Biloxi Public School District for 3 years, however she began teaching at North Bay in 2006. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education and her Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Florida. Miss Bishop was presented with the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce "Rookie" Teacher of the Year in 2005. She moved to MS in July 2005. Her entire family resides in the Republic of Panama. She is an animal lover and enjoys cooking. |

Slajounya Johnson-Gates has been teaching at North Bay for 5 years. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Elementary Education from William Carey College. She enjoys shooting pool, traveling, watching scary movies, and time spent with family/friends. | |

Colleen Kelly began teaching at North Bay Elementary this year. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education and Psychology from Millsaps College. She is also certified in K-8 Math and Reading and Special Education. She was on the Dean's and President's List and competed in varsity volleyball at Millsaps all four years. She received the award of Excellence in Elementary Student Teaching. | |||
