Principal's Message

We have transitioned a group of students from Biloxi Junior High into the Secondary Educational Enhancement Program housed here at Lopez School. The purpose of this program is to focus on each student’s academic weakness and help them catch up academically through computer interventions. The Elementary Educational Enhancement Program students are making excellent progress.

If you are around in our area, be sure to check out our new landscaping. The new flowers and plants have helped to beautify our campus. Thank you Ms. Wiseman and Ms. Walters for all your hard work and dedication. We will continue to landscape until the entire campus is complete.

We are preparing for 2^nd term CTAs daily. Please remind your child to complete homework each night. An excellent online resource for remediation is USA Test Prep. This can be accessed from home. Please encourage your child to work each day using this resource.

Mid Term Progress Reports will go home November 14^th. Please be sure to review the progress reports and call if you have any questions.

I am really excited this school year as each year seems to get better. This year we have officially opened an activity room, which includes therapeutic methods.

Our school motto is “Changing the Face of Alternative Education One Child at a Time” – It is our goal to truly make a difference and enhance the qualities and strengths of every child.
