Music News from Ms. Lyons
|
As we move toward Spring, we are continuing to learn about the many instruments played in orchestras, marching bands and contemporary bands of today. We will also continue to review the notes of the musical alphabet as well as learn to read basic rhythm patterns while playing classroom instruments. We will be singing and dancing, too! As always, I will incorporate cross-curricular activities such as music and math, music and history and music and dance. "Music is to the mind as air is to the body." PLATO
