Tests

Tests are usually announced 3 or more days in advance of the test date.  Please check your planner, classroom board, and classroom website.

Makeup tests will be taken during Power Hour. The test will be an alternate test.

RETESTING:  Anyone may retest IF they meet the following criteria--

1.  Did not cheat on the original test.

2.  Students must have all classwork and homework for the unit completed and turned in by the due date in order to qualify for retesting.

3.  Students must retest within 10 days of the original test.

4. Refusal to take the original test will automatically disqualify the student for retesting.

5. The retest will be a different style test covering the same material. The higher test grade will be recorded.

6. Retests will be taken during the Power Hour in the assigned teacher's classroom. (You'll receive a note from your teacher when you qualify for retesting to retest during Power Hour or if you want to stay after school.)

See Mrs. Shoemake or Mrs. Davis about retesting Monday-Thursday (7:15-7:40).  Students may sign up for retesting with either teacher and receive retesting information. We do not give out retesting information during class.

Cheating: If a student is caught giving or receiving answers on any science material including but not limited to a test, the student will be given a zero.

IF a student is absent on test day or has been absent for the unit,

the student may receive an alternate test that covers the same material.
