Class Rules & Procedures

     

SCHOOLWIDE CLASSROOM DISCIPLINE PLAN

We believe that all students have a right to learn. Therefore, it is important that students read and understand the current student handbook.

Classroom Rules

1. I will follow directions the first time given.
2. I will be quiet, in my seat, and completing bellwork when the tardy bell rings.
3. I will keep hands, feet, objects and negative or distracting comments to myself.
4. I will bring all needed or requested materials to class (includes homework and projects).
5. I will not write, read, or pass personal notes or possess anything that creates a distraction.
6. I will not talk, chew gum, eat, drink or put my head down in class unless I have permission. 
 

 

No student has the right to stop me

from teaching or other students from learning.

 

Classroom Consequences

1. Warning
2. Parent contact
3. Morning and/or afternoon detentions--1 to 3 days--with parent contact
4. Counselor/Office referral
Severe disruptions or offenses will result in immediate referral to the office
 

 

Tardy Bell Means:

1. Pencils  sharpened

2. Quiet

3. In your assigned seat

4. Bookbags out of the aisle

5. On task

 

Cheating/Plagiarism:

All work must be completed entirely by the individual student. Any assignment turned in that contains the work of another person, either in all or in part, will result in a zero (0) as a grade for ALL students involved.
