All About Me

I am a native of Biloxi, Mississippi. I have taught in Biloxi  Public School District for the past twelve years. I have been teaching for seventeen years. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education; and a Master’s Degree in Social Studies, a Specialist degree in Curriculum, and a PhD in Educational Administration.

In my classroom I hope to create an inviting environment so that each student can reach his/her full potential.  My goal is that every student will learn each of the History objectives outlined in the Mississippi Curriculum Frameworks through meaningful lessons and captivating activities.  I know with my students’ effort and their parents’ guidance we can achieve this goal!

When I am not at school, I spend all of my time with my wonderful husband and three daughters.  I enjoy sports, photography, leisure reading, and creating memories of my family.
