Objective:This is a general overview of what the teacher will teach and what the students is expected to master.

1/8---Cycles in Nature                                           2/5--Meiosis

1/15---Ecology                                                       2/12--Genetics

1/22---Biome Part 1                                               2/24--Endocrine/Reproduction

1/26---Biome Part 2                                               3/3--MCT Science for 8^th grade

Tutoring Schedule: Tutoring is available Tuesday to Friday from 7:15 to 7:40.

All students wanting tutoring or reteaching/retesting information should contact the teacher.

After school sessions (3:00-3:40)---They attend any teacher's tutoring session!!!!

How to be successful in 8th grade science:

1. Be present.

2. Read and study 15-20 minutes each night (notes, handouts, textbook).

3. Bring necessary materials to class (binder, pencil, handouts, etc.).

4. Pay attention in class (stay awake, don't distract others, etc).

5. Ask appropriate and relevant questions.

6. Do your own work (classwork, homework, assignments, etc.).

7. Turn in your work by the due date.
