Classroom Discipline Plan

I do not believe that any student has the right to stop me from teaching or other students from learning.  Therefore, with my principal's approval, I have developed the following Discipline Plan for my classroom.  I am asking that you read and review this plan with your child so that both of you will be aware of the rules. 

Classroom Rules

1.  Follow all directions the first time given. 

2.  Interrupting learning or instruction in any way is prohibited.

3.  Be respectful of others and their property.

4.  Be in your seat with all necessary materials when the bell rings.

5.  Keep hands, feet, objects, and negative comments to yourself. 

6.  Food, beverages, gum, grooming, and note-passing are not allowed in class.

Classroom Consequences

1.  Warning

2.  Parent Contact

3.  Written Assignment and/or parent contact.

4.  Morning detention and/or parent contact.

5.  Counselor Referral or Office referral (Severe disruptions or offenses will result in immediate referral to the office.)
