My Class Rules:

1.       I will follow directions the first time given

2.       I will keep hands, feet, objects and negative or distracting comments to myself

3.       I will bring all needed or requested materials to class (includes homework and projects) and be in my seat when the tardy bell rings

4.       I will not write, read, or pass personal notes or possess anything that creates a distraction

5.       I will not chew gum, eat, or drink in class

6.    I will have fun each day, but in a constructive way.

Rewards for positive or mature behavior:

1.       Praise in class and possibly a phone call home.

2.       Postcard, written note, or email sent to parent. (Please provide e-mail address.)

Consequences if a student chooses to break a rule or act out:

1.       Verbal warning (or non-verbal cue)

2.       Written warning, contact parent

3.       Detention – 15 minutes after school, contact parent

4.       Detention – 30 minutes after school, seating change (if necessary), contact parent

5.       Office referral
