Ø BCT I students will be on a field trip to Hancock Bank from 9:45 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m.

Ø Designated Biloxi High School “Spirit Day” – You may wear jeans with an appropriate spirit shirt (BHS or BPS logos; BHS club or program logos, etc.). No tennis, jogging, running, or other “exercise” shoes. (Policy GAMC)
Ø Prepare classrooms and offices for Spring Break. Shut down all computers; turn off lights; secure valuables; clean out refrigerators in case of power failure.

REMINDERS
SPRING BREAK MARCH, 29 - APRIL 2,
CLASSES RESUME, MONDAY, APRIL 5
Use your Power Hour time wisely. All classrooms should be busy during this time with teachers interacting directly with students.
Supervision is the key to fewer discipline problems both in the classroom and on officially assigned duty days.
Update grades!
Make sure lights are off, doors are locked, and classrooms, meeting rooms, gyms are secure before
leaving each day.
Students do not enter classroom hallways at any time during any lunch period unless in possession of a (pink) hall pass. Students are to be dropped off/picked up at the south entrance to the school, not in front. Students use restrooms in cafeteria hallway only during lunch. Students may enter North hall to see counselors or go to the Career Center during lunches.
INFORMATION FROM THE CAREER CENTER
USM’s Dixie Darling Dance Line is holding tryouts on March 27th and April 24th at the Payne Center on the Hattiesburg campus. Information is posted on the bulletin board outside of the Career Center.
The Rural Medical Scholars Program is once again taking applications from juniors who are interested in them medical field and plan to become a physician. You must have a 25 on your ACT, with a 24 in Math. The application deadline is March 22nd.
We have received applications for the Mississippi State University IMAGE Program. This program is open to minority seniors who plan to attend MSU in the fall and major in engineering
The Bleuer, Blue Caillavet, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and other scholarship applications are in. Seniors need to check the scholarship board……
We have received the applications for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Reflections Team and also the Perk Resident Assistant Application.
