MONDAY – 30th Regular
Ø BHS Swim Team Banquet, 6:00 p.m., Grate Grills & More (1723 Pass Rd., Gulfport)
Ø 9th Gr Basketball, BHS vs Hancock, away, 5/6:15 p.m.
Ø Drama Dept. will be performing their competition play “Broken Hearts” free of charge @ 7:00 p.m. tonight in the Lecture Hall.
Ø Varsity Soccer, BHS vs Long Beach, @ home, 6/7:30 p.m.
Ø Santa Wears a Badge kick-off. Place new toys in box in cafeteria through December 14.
TUESDAY – 1st Regular Schedule
Ø SATP Retest – Biology I – Tiered and Flat Labs – Media Center. Students report to first period and will be called to the test site.
Ø Key Club meeting immediately after school.
Ø Cross Country Banquet, 6:00 p.m., Sicily’s.
Ø Relay For Life Kickoff, 6:00 p.m., BHS Cafeteria.

WEDNESDAY – 2nd Regular Schedule
Ø SATP Retest – US History – Tiered Lab – Media Center – Students report to first period and will be called to test site.
Ø Faculty Meeting, 2:20 p.m., Lecture Hall.
THURSDAY – 3rd Regular Schedule
Ø SATP Retest – Algebra I – Rooms 201 and 202 – Students report to first period and will be called to test site.
Ø Lesson Plans due.
Ø Teacher vs Student Volleyball Game, during Power Hour, Sports Arena. Only those who purchased a ticket will be allowed to attend.
Ø USA Test Prep Training, 2:20, Media Center, all SATP teachers, plus English I, Science Skills, Transition to Algebra, Pre-Algebra and Compensatory Math teachers.
FRIDAY – 4th Regular Schedule
Ø SATP Retest – English II – Rooms 201 and 202 - Students report to first period and will be called to test site.
Ø Mississippi Bowl, BHS Stadium. Soccer Boosters have concessions. No apparel by any club or group may be sold.
Ø Deadline for freshmen to apply for Junior Leadership Biloxi in Career Center.
SATURDAY – 5th
Ø Mississippi Bowl, BHS Stadium.
Ø Mississippi Blues vs Columbus Life, BHS Sports Arena, 7:00 p.m.
Ø Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College ACT Math Prep Workshop.
REMINDERS
It is imperative that you check your email and mail box twice daily. ISS, OSS, and requests for illness assignments are emailed to you and/or placed in your mailbox several times a day.
Remind students in the mornings that to enter the office area or go to classes for tutoring, they must use the north courtyard doors only. No students should be entering through other corridors in the mornings!
Students who stay after school are to be picked up in the back of the school. Do Not make arrangements with your parents to pick you up in the front. This includes from tutoring, club meetings, detention, etc.
Make sure lights are off, doors are locked, and classrooms, meeting rooms, gyms are secure before
leaving each day.
Check all doors and pull tightly closed when leaving if working late.
Students do not enter classroom hallways at any time during any lunch period unless in possession of a (pink) hall pass.
Students use restrooms in cafeteria hallway only during lunch. Students may enter North hall to see counselors or go to the Career Center during lunches.
INFORMATION FROM THE CAREER CENTER
Mississippi Governor’s school applications are now available for 10th and 11th graders. This is a three week residential program, which provides college credits. MGS is looking for candidates who have demonstrated exceptional ability and achievement in academic and community involvement and show leadership potential. Information and applications are in the Career Center.
There are new scholarships posted in the Career Center.
