TUESDAY – 2nd – Regular Schedule

Ø      CTA Delivery.

Ø      Choir Trip Chaperon meeting, 6:00 p.m., Choir Room

Ø      “Tech the Halls”, 6:00 p.m., BJHS Auditorium, no signing up required. This is an event for all parents presented by the Biloxi Schools to inform about the latest technological tools and give information to help children compete and stay safe in the 21st century. Accessing readiness tests for ACT/SAT and other web pages will be demonstrated, as well as information about cyber bullying, MySpace, FaceBook, etc.

REMINDERS

All students who will take Drivers Education next semester must have learner’s permit prior to the beginning of the semester.

Supervision is the key to fewer discipline problems both in the classroom and on officially assigned duty days. 
Update grades and IOD weekly!
Make sure lights are off, doors are locked, and classrooms, meeting rooms, gyms are secure before leaving each day.
Students do not enter classroom hallways at any time during any lunch period unless in possession of a (pink) hall pass.
Students use restrooms in cafeteria hallway only during lunch.  Students may enter North hall to see counselors or go to the Career Center during lunches.

Information from the Career Center

The free ACT/SAT preparation study-ware, sponsored by NFL Players and the Department of Defense, is now available to all BHS students.  Flyers are being distributed through the English classes.

Biloxi High School will be nominating sophomore and junior candidates for the Mississippi Governor’s School.  To qualify you must have a gifted eligibility rating or score in the top 10% in ACT, SAT, PLAN or PSAT scores.  More information is in the Career Center.
