Animals VS Polluters

      We’re trying to stop the polluters from destroying our wetlands today. Construction is destroying animal’s homes and breeding areas. People from all over the world are still littering today and when they litter they are hurting the animals each day. The time has come for us to recognize wetlands as an invaluable resource and to treat them with the respect they deserve.         

     Wetland destruction has become a major environmental issue in the United States, as nearly half of the wetlands in lower forty-eight states have been destroyed. With the loss of wetlands has come the loss of valuable habitat for native species. The loss of  wetlands also leads to flooding of water in lakes, rivers, and tributaries.
