| Beauvoir Students Win George Ohr Museum Art Contest |
| Two Beauvoir students won the "Raising the Pods" art contest sponsored by the George Ohr Museum. The contest was held to celebrate the rebuilding of the new Ohr Museum which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Recently the silver "Pods" were set in place on the site. This is a major part of the rebuilding of the museum.Both original works of art will be given to architect Frank Gehry who designed the museum. |
