The Pumpkin Story

Mrs. Garriga's Kindergarten class performed a science experiment with their Halloween pumpkin. The following is the story of the experiment as told by her kindergarteners. The words are exact quotes from her students. 
 

"We had our Jack-o-Lantern after Halloween."

"We all put things from the classroom in the pumpkin."

"Mrs. Garriga dug a hole and put it in on November 4th, 2005. "

"We all dropped dirt over our pumpkin."

"After Christmas we dug it up."

"After we came back in the classroom we discovered that we found all except the candy and the Kleenex tissue."

"We learned that if you put a pumpkin in the gournd it will melt and go away."
