About the Author Becky Lucas is a certified teacher who teaches the computer class at Beauvoir Elementary in Biloxi, Mississippi. She assists the teachers in her school as they learn to use technology as a tool. She helps them to integrate their classroom curriculum into the work that students do in the computer lab. Becky also conducts training classes for teachers in her district. She also tries to find the latest cool stuff that her school needs, then she writes grants to try and get them. So far she's been pretty lucky with that; that's how we got our digital cameras at school. Becky has presented at the state educational technology conference (MECA) 2 times, once on how her computer lab collaborates with the classroom teachers ; "Connecting the Computer Lab to the Classroom" and once on the uses for KidPix; "KidPix-A REALLY Multimedia Experience."
