Beauvoir's "South Mississippi Hero"
Beauvoir first grader, Carter Wells was recently named a "South Mississippi Hero" by WLOX television. Carter has a friend, Lexi Moore who has cancer. He started a remarkable fund raising campaign to help her. Here are pictures and links to the WLOX report about Carter and the ad that he made for our school television station, WBES to start his mission to help Lexi.

Carter Wells was recognized by the Biloxi School Board for his efforts to raise money for his friend, Lexi who has cancer. He also received the "Youngest Volunteer" award from the city of Biloxi! Best of all, Carter has raised $2000-just a little more than the "500 bucks" he originally aimed for.
