Mr. Jimerson, the coordinator for Beauvoir's Black History program arranged for speakers to talk to the children.  This year's guests were Lewis Daniels, sales manager for Pat Peck Nissan; E.J. Roberts, State Farm agent; and Clemon Jimerson Jr., a former Beauvoir Elementary student and now a New Hope Center Behavioral Facilitator Supervisor for Harrison County Schools.  Mr. Daniels spoke first, he told the children how to use their talents to become a success in life.

Fifth grade choir and fourth grade recorder choir performed under the direction of Ms. Sheila Fife.  Mr. Jimerson Jr. told us how to "shake off the talking bug."  Destiny played piano.  Finally Mr. Roberts told us about how education opens doors and how we should go through those doors when we have the chance.

Mr. Roberts performed a magic trick. He wrote down names of the kids favorite fruits and put them all in a bag. He had Ashley draw a name from a bag.  Then he gave Candace a box to open, it had the fruit that Ashley picked from the bag in it!  How did he do that?
