Beauvoir Educators Receive National Recognition

Several teachers at Beauvoir Elementary were awarded Reading Renaissance Model Classroom Rectification by the Madison, WI, based company.  Model Classroom certification indicates the these teachers efforts to adopt Reading Renaissance methods have continued to result in measurable increases in student reading performance. 

To receive Reading Renaissance Model Classroom certifications, teachers must demonstrate that their students receive a minimum of sixty minutes of reading practice time daily.  In addition, teachers must be actively working with individual student to meet Renaissance-recommended standards for reading achievement.  Educators become eligible for Model classroom recertificdation after they have maintained certification for one full year.
