A contest was held to see which class could come up with the best healthy snacks-in alphabetical order! Mrs. Buchanan's fifth graders won with their colorful, creative alphabetical list.

A is for eating apricots as we amble aimlessly along.

B is for eating a bunch of bananas for brunch while bouncing beneath blue

    balloons.

C is for curiously craving crunchy carrots while counting crazy coconuts.

D is for devouring delicious dairy drinks during a delightful dinner.

E is for eating excellent eggs while escaping from elephants.

F is for eating fresh fish at the fair and finally feeling full.

G is for gracefully eating grapes in the gorgeous garden.

H is for humorously eating healthy hamburgers on a happy holiday.

I is for impossibly eating ice cream on an icy day while ice skating.

J is for eating jiggly jam on a January day while jousting in Japan.

K is for eating kiwi while keeping kicking kangaroos quiet.

L is for licking lemons on a lovely day.

M is for munching mangos while marching in the marsh.

N is for eating nuts with a nickel at night.

O is for drinking orange juice while oaring over the ocean.

P is for eating perfect peaches while pouting prettily.

Q is for quietly eating quiche in quant Quebec.

R is for eating really ripe raspberries while running rapidly.

S is for silently eating strawberry so s l o w l y and smoothly.

T is for eating tasty terrific tomatoes while tiptoeing through town.

U is for eating uniquely unfried (baked) French fries while using an unusual

   umbrella.

V is for eating vast vegetables while viewing visions of vistas.

W is for eating wonderful watermelon while wading in waves.

X  is for eating eXtremely eXcellent  foods while eXiting an X-ray room.

Y is for eating yummy yogurt while yelling at young yellow yaks.

Z is for eating zesty zucchini while watching zooming zebras.
