Second Graders Create Book Reports on Nursery Rhymes

The Lady Who Lived in a Shoe is a silly rhyme. It is about a woman that lives in shoe. she has a lot of children, and she fed them and put them to bed. I like it because it is funny.

Hickory, dickory, dock, the mouse ran up the clock, the clock struck one, the mouse ran down, hickory, dickory dock.

The Nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill" is about a boy and a girl who go to fetch some water, and Jack falls down and breaks his crown. Jill comes tumbling after. I like this rhyme because it is funny!

In "Hay Diddle Diddle" the cow jumped over the moon. Then the little dog laughs at the sports. And the dish and spoon ran away until their feet stopped running.

 

Humpty Dumpy sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpy had a great fall, all the kings horses and all the kings man couldn't put Humpty together again
