We're off to a great start for the 2007-2008 school year. I teach Language Arts which includes Reading, English, Spelling, and Creative Writing.
Please check your child's homework note each Monday. All homework for the week, test dates, announcements, or notes, will be on the note.
We are preparing daily for the new MCT II testing that will be taken in May. Please check the Biloxi website for any information about the test.
Nichols has a great tutorial program, after school called The Learning Lighthouse. Students can be tutored in Math or Language Arts Monday-Thursday. On Fridays, the students are offered Creative Arts!

Some info about Ms Walker: I live at home with my youngest child, Kaleb, and our four rowdy dogs. Kaleb is in the band at Biloxi High School so we spend lots of time practicing for the games, parades, and contest. I have three children, Rachel, Brian, and Kaleb. I am blessed with five grandchildren: Hannah, Shelly, C.J., Rose Marie, and Emily. Needless to say, I have plenty of entertainment at home.
Disney World is my favorite place and I love everything Mickey Mouse!
