¨ The Media Center will be open each day of the school week from 6:30 A.M. until 3:00 P.M..
¨ Students may come in during their lunch period and before and after school without a pass. During class periods, each student must have a pass from a teacher.
¨ Students may check books out for a two-week period. Books may be renewed for an additional two weeks.
¨ Teachers may place books on reserve, in which case they may be checked out for only one period or overnight.¨ Fines are charged at the rate of $.05 per day for regular books and $.50 per day for overnight material.
¨ If a book is lost, the student is required to pay for it.
¨ A copier is located in the Media Center, primarily for student use. Students are charged $.10 for each copy from the copier or from the computer printers. A color printer is located at the circulation desk and copies from this printer are $.25.¨ If you have a suggestion for a book or other media for the library media center, we want to hear from you. The library media collection, both print and non-print is developed to meet the needs of the curriculum and the personal needs of the patrons. The library media specialists use selection criteria and other selection tools to ensure that these needs are met. All purchases and gifts should meet the same selection standards.
