NCAA Registration Information

           Most of the information provided by the NCAA Website (click here) is easy to understand and self-explanatory.  Registration should be completed by the students with the assistance of their parents/guardians online at home.  Students who have questions, may need further clarification pertaining to particular items for registration, or need computer/Internet access in order to register can see Mr. Rosetti in the Guidance Department.  Registration is only available on-line. 

Remember--the fee required by the NCAA in order to register is $60.00.  Those who received a school fee waiver for the ACT or SAT may be eligible to receive a fee waiver for the NCAA registration, so please see Mr. Rosetti if this fee waiver information applies to you.

Also, if you plan on taking the SAT or ACT in the near future, make sure you have your scores sent to the NCAA Eligibility Center, code # 9999, as well as to your schools. 

If you have already taken the ACT or SAT and did not have the scores sent to the Eligibility Center, see the NCAA website for more info regarding sending scores to the Eligibility Center.      Click on the following links to access ACT Additional Score Request Forms and SAT Additional Score Request Forms.  You must know the month and date the tests were taken, because BHS may not have records of all tests taken.

NCAA ELIGIBILITY REGISTRATION TIMELINE FOR STUDENTS IN HIGH SCHOOL

What Do I Need To Do Regarding NCAA Registration? Grade 9 Verify with your high school guidance counselor and the online core-course listing to make sure you are on track. Grade 10 Verify with your high school guidance counselor and the online core-course listing to make sure you are on track. Grade 11 Register with the eligibility center. Make sure you are still on course to meet core-course requirements (verify you have the correct number of core courses and that the core courses are on your high school's 48-H with the eligibility center). After your junior year, have your high school guidance counselor send a copy of your transcript. If you have attended any other high schools, make sure a transcript is sent to the eligibility center from each high school. When taking the ACT or SAT, request test scores to be sent to the eligibility center (the code is "9999"). Begin your amateurism questionnaire. Grade 12 When taking the ACT or SAT, request test scores to be sent to the eligibility center (the code is "9999"). Complete amateurism questionnaire and sign the final authorization signature online on or after April 1 if you are expecting to enroll in college in the fall semester. (If you are expecting to enroll for spring semester, sign the final authorization signature on or after October 1 of the year prior to enrollment.) Have your high school guidance counselor send a final transcript with proof of graduation to the eligibility center.
