SENIOR INFO:             

Paper Scholarships in Career Center:

·         Ole Miss Accounting, Business, & Engineering Majors: Come to the Career Center for details of a possible Co-op experience including scholarships.

·         FASFA Days for Seniors’ parents:  March 6^th & 7^th.  Get2College Counselors will be here during the school day to help parents file for FASFA & MTAG.

·         David G. Hall, M.D Memorial Scholarship for seniors interested in pursuing a career field in Medicine.  Apply online:  www.msafp.org/scholarship   Deadline: March 31^st

COLLEGE CAMPUS INFO: 

·         USM is holding the “Southern Miss Leadership Institute 2012” on Saturday,                 February 11^th.  Free program to become involved on USM’s Campus.

·         MSU’s Bagley College of Engineering is offering a 5 week summer session for underrepresented minority students entering engineering majors.  For more information email Ms. Angela Verdell  adc15@bagley.msstate.edu  Deadline: February 24^th.

·         Ole Miss offers a Summer Bridge Program for minority students pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.  Applications in Career Center.  

SENIOR, JUNIOR & SOPHOMORE INFO: 

·         Juniors interested in pursing a career as a Family Medicine Physician are encouraged to apply for the ‘The Rural Medical Scholars Summer Program,’ offered by MSU Extension Services. Come by Career Center or visit www.RMS.msucares.com.

·         Sophomore, Juniors, & Seniors interested in the earning 4-6 hours of college credit can apply for the University of Mississippi’s ‘Summer College for High School Students.’  Come to the Career Center for all details.
