Mayor A.J. Holloway dropped by Gorenflo Elementary School to receive a copy of a book written by the CREATE students of teacher Ginger Anderson. During the semester-long project, the sutdents researched their town and then created illustrations for each letter of the alphabet based on the sites, businesses, and happenings in Biloxi. They also wrote poetry to go with their illustrations. Mayor Holloway, in accepting the book, said it would be the first publication to go into the new Biloxi Public Library, set to open on Howard Avenue later this year.
