FREE/REDUCED LUNCH APPLICATIONS

All schools participating in the National School Lunch and/or Breakfast program are required to serve free and reduced price meals to students of families whose income is at or below the current eligibility income scale for free and reduced price meals.

Each household should have an application on file every school year.  Each returning child eats on last year's status for the first 30 days of school or until the current year's application has been processed by the Child Nutrition Office.

The Child Nutrition Office has 10 days to process applications for new students or Kindergarten students.  THESE STUDENTS MUST PAY UNTIL THEIR APPLICATION IS PROCESSED. 

Federal law does not allow a federally funded program to accrue debt; therefore charges are NOT allowed.  So please make sure these students have a lunch and/or lunch money daily.
