New
Guidelines set for Biloxi First Grants...
METHODS and
GOALS
Our methods will include,
but are not limited to, programs that will:
Promote the physical and financial involvement of business,
industry and military in the education process of our community.
Promote excellence among our
professional educators, both academic and administrative.
Encourage and reward achievers
across the entire spectrum of ability, both students and educators.
Finance creative programs and
innovative projects that would not other-wise be funded.
Develop a permanent foundation
for depositing and managing funds generated through Biloxi First, Inc., and matched in
part by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation.
BECOME A MEMBER
OF BILOXI FIRST
A minimum contribution of $125
for a business or organization and $50 for an individual makes you a voting member of
Biloxi First, but all donations are needed and greatly appreciated.
Please fill out and return the
attached membership application today, along with your much-needed contributions. We can
make Biloxi first if we just put our money where our minds are.
Through membership dues and
through our Named Grant Program, our endowment
fund now exceeds $200,000, giving teachers even greater access to funds for new projects.
Named Grants
Through Biloxi First, you can
establish a permanent Named Grant by a contribution of $5000.
Biloxi First, Inc., will in
turn continually work to secure matching funds up to an additional $5000
that will provide for a total of $10,000 to be permanently invested in the
Biloxi First Educational Endowment Fund.
Your Named Grant may bear your
name, the name of your business, or the name of someone whom you wish to
honor.
