No. 1 seed Biloxi of the Western Conference will host Gautier, the No. 2 seed of the Eastern Conference, on Monday at 5 p.m. in a 9th Grade basketball game.
If the Indians win, they will host the Regional Championship Game on Thursday, against the winner of the Pascagoula-Gulfport game.
Says Coach Michael Reese: "Come out Monday and support the 9th Grade Boys Basketball Team!"
Little Teepee center has openings for youngsters
Little Teepee Child Development Center, located at Biloxi High Career Technology Center, has openings for two-, three-, and four-year-old children.
The center is licensed by the Mississippi Department of Health and is staffed with qualified and caring teachers.
The center offers a developmentally appropriate curriculum and will help prepare your child for kindergarten. The Little Teepee Child Development Center also is an educational partner with Excel by 5, and children receive extra attention from the career technology students who are part of the Early Childhood Services and Education program.
The center operates from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuition is $100 per week, which includes breakfast, lunch and snacks.
The center does follow the Biloxi Public School’s 187-day calendar. There is no charge for days when the center is closed for holidays.

Track practice: Boys track practice will begin Monday, Feb. 7. Only participants who have a waiver and physical on file with the Athletic Department will be allowed to practice with the team. Garza honor: Elaina Garza, a senior at Biloxi High School, has been offered the Commander's Leadership Scholarship at Tulane University. The four-year scholarship is valued at $220,000. Elaina served as the JROTC Corps Commander for the first semester at Biloxi High school. She is the daughter of Reynolodo and Paula Garza.
